Oxygen need for burning. The wood in the hearth covered with ash. So hearth won’t glow well. But if we blow to the hearth the ash go away then the hearth burning well. If we blow to the candle flame the upper air and the wax vapor removed, finally the flame quit.

Normally density of the orange seeds is higher than density of the water. But when we add sugar into the water, density of the mixture exceeds density of the seeds. That’s why seeds start to float when we add sugar in to orange juice.
