Answer for the Question of the Week

If the end of the exhaust pipe is straight up, when the vehicle is moving, the air above it also moves. If air is moving, the air pressure of that place reduces. This is simply called the Bernoulli’s principle. So,the pressure in the bottom of exhaust pipe is higher than the pressure at the top. This pressure difference helps smoke to rise upwards through the pipe and mix to the air. Removing smoke constantly helps engine to work efficiently.

(expands cross sectional area) .This reduces the strength of capillary walls that help mosquitoes to pierce and suck blood out easily. But remember it is not compulsory that mosquitoes can only pierce our skin when we are angry.
